Over these 2 days, more than 1500 companies will be contacted to present 3DEXPERIENCE, test the pitches, and document the initial arguments. It was created by P Pierre Marc (CEO XDI)<\/strong> and S\u00e9bastien, 2 \"veterans\" of 3D CAD.<\/p>\n S\u00e9bastien, founded the company with Lenny, his brother (also a shareholder of XDI) AvenAo<\/strong>SOLIDWORKS Integrator in 2002. S\u00e9bastien and Lenny sold AvenAo to the Prodways Group 4 years ago. Passionate about engineering (S\u00e9bastien holds a DEA in mechanics and simulation from the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure, Lenny holds an engineering degree from the ESILV), new business models, and entrepreneurship, S\u00e9bastien and Lenny proposed to Prodways<\/strong> to partner to create the \"next-generation\" 3D software integrator. This will be<\/p>\n XD Innovation. A bit on the same model as Orange with Sosh, or Volkswagen with Porsche, the Prodways group will therefore have 2 brands to integrate the best design and innovation tools: AvenAo and Ohmycad. Each brand has its DNA, its specificities, its \"Persona\". Ohmycad's DNA will consist of cloud, SaaS, new uses, services for Industrial startups<\/a>, innovation\u2026 The idea is to start from scratch, reinvent, and ask ourselves questions again. And that's good!<\/p>\n Pierre Marc, an INSA engineer, is one of S\u00e9bastien and Lenny's earliest companions at AvenAo. He joined AvenAo as an intern over 10 years ago and has never left :) Product engineer, salesman, branch manager, director, COO \u2013 he's held every position at AvenAo before taking on the ultimate challenge: becoming a startup CEO! Bam! Pierre Marc is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. He's the one driving Ohmycad's day-to-day operations, strategy, clients, and finances. He's the big boss \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n So, as we were telling you, at first we were called Nextcube.IO<\/strong>. But why change the name after 15 days? Well, because Pierre Marc and S\u00e9bastien met a super entrepreneur, Soufiane, based in the US, in Denver, and who, since 2017, has launched XD INNOVATION US<\/strong>. This company was the first to choose to \"jump\" on the integration of the 3DEXPERIENCE<\/strong>, particularly around technologies CATIA<\/a>. For example, XD Innovation US handles the world's largest client for 3DEXPERIENCE Full Cloud: Canoo. XD Innovation US consists of about thirty engineers who are among the world's top specialists in 3DEXPERIENCE integration. XD Innovation has received numerous Dassault Syst\u00e8mes Prize<\/a>(Best US Integrator, Platinum Partner...)<\/p>\n On a round trip to the US, a meeting at Prodways offices in Boston, Soufiane, Pierre Marc, and S\u00e9bastien, decided to combine their destinies to create a global leader in the integration of new 3DEXPERIENCE \"Full Cloud\" solutions: CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, DELAMIA\u2026 Nextcube.IO will from now on be called Ohmycad<\/a>. The idea is to combine strengths, skills, and energy to boost the startup.<\/p>\n Up until then, everything was going well... all of that was a few days before the pandemic, the lockdown...
