These can be found under Functions \u2192 Linear Repetition (drop-down menu). The golden rule: repeat the <strong>function<\/strong>, not redraw, so that everything updates when the first instance changes.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"lineaire\">Linear repetition<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Create the first instance (e.g., a hole).<\/li>\n<li>Features \u2192 <strong>Linear repetition<\/strong>. Direction 1: Click an edge; spacing and number of occurrences (or \u00abUp to the reference\u00bb). Direction 2 if using a grid.<\/li>\n<li>Functions to repeat: Select the hole. The first: repeating <strong>body<\/strong> instead of functions on a single-body part (this results in separate bodies). The second: forget <strong>Repetition Geometry<\/strong> during large-scale iterations (a grid of 500 holes without this option would require several minutes to reconstruct).
