It cannot be split between several users or several computers. <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The operation takes some time, from 20 minutes to several hours, depending on the number of files. Do not interrupt the process or use SOLIDWORKS during this time. <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We do <strong>not recommend importing all archived data<\/strong>. We recommend importing only your current projects. This will reduce loading time and avoid clogging up the platform unnecessarily.  &nbsp;<br \/>Are you really going to use your 2018 project that you haven&#8217;t opened in 4 years?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3>1. File preparation<\/h3>\n<p>Before importing, we recommend that you evaluate your files for any problems that might prevent them from being saved. Go to<strong>&#8220;Tools<\/strong>&#8220;, then<strong>&#8220;File Preparation Wizard&#8221;<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"14\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"309\" style=\"width: 688px; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/14.png\" width=\"688\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"hs-image-align-center\" height=\"370\" style=\"width: 688px; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/image-png-Oct-18-2023-10-33-21-7218-AM.png\" width=\"688\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Add the folder containing your data, then check all the checkboxes.<\/p>\n<p>Choose the location where the &#8220;evaluation report&#8221; will be generated.<\/p>\n<p>The tool corrects any problems. Now you&#8217;re ready to start importing! <\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Saving files<\/h3>\n<p>Go to &#8221; <strong>Tools <\/strong>&#8221; then &#8221; <strong>Batch Recording<\/strong> &#8220;.<\/p>\n<div class=\"hs-callout-type-caution\" data-hs-callout-type=\"caution\">\n<p>To use this add-on, you don&#8217;t need to have anything open in SOLIDWORKS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"1\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"174\" style=\"height: auto; width: 688px;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/1.png\" width=\"688\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Click on &#8221; <strong>Add a folder<\/strong> &#8221; and select your library folder.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"2\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"364\" style=\"height: auto; width: 688px;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/2.png\" width=\"688\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Choose the collaboration space. Except in special cases, this space remains the &#8221; &nbsp;<strong>Common Space<\/strong> <\/p>\n<div class=\"hs-callout-type-tip\" data-hs-callout-type=\"tip\">\n<p>Tip: It may be worthwhile to create a new &#8220;Library&#8221; <strong>public<\/strong> area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>3. Create destination location<\/h3>\n<p>Create <strong>bookmark <\/strong>(see <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.xdinnovation.eu\/knowledge\/comment-avoir-un-bookmark-dans-la-biblioth%C3%A8que-solidworks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tutorial<\/a>)<strong> <\/strong>which will contain the library. Click on the bookmark icon and add a bookmark in the desired location. Launch import<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;Start import.
