You can choose to have the conversion take effect when the file is saved, or when the file&#8217;s maturity is changed. <\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Origin<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&#8221; corresponds to the source of the file you wish to convert. <\/span> <\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Type<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&#8220;is the type of file to be converted. As a reminder, the choice is limited to a part or a drawing. <\/span><\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Target format<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&#8221; is the format you wish to obtain after conversion. <\/span> <\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Event<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&#8221; indicates the conversion method (during registration, for example). <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once the rules have been added, click on<strong>&#8220;Apply<\/strong>&#8220;, and refresh the cache. Make a modification, or simply <strong>CTRL+Q<\/strong> (global refresh). &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"6-1\" class=\"hs-image-align-center\" height=\"93\" style=\"width: 288px; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/6-1.jpg\" width=\"288\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Make your backup with 3DEXPERIENCE (see <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.xdinnovation.eu\/knowledge\/bases-de-sauvegarde-avec-solidworks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tutorial<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The converted files are generated and saved in your <strong>Bookmarks <\/strong>(see <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.xdinnovation.eu\/knowledge\/droits-dacc%C3%A8s-aux-donn%C3%A9es-solidworks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tutorial<\/a>), in the location where the modified part is saved. To find them, select your part, then go to <strong>Information &#8220;i&#8221;<\/strong>. Then select the<strong>&#8220;Derived output<\/strong>&#8221; icon (three outgoing arrows).  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"11\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"272\" style=\"width: 688px; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/8764694.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/8764694\/11.jpg\" width=\"688\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Now all you have to do is download your converted file!<\/p>\n<p>If you want to download several files, <strong>it can be tedious<\/strong> to download them one by one&#8230; What if we told you that you could <strong>retrieve all the files<\/strong> in an assembly at <strong>once <\/strong>? <\/p>\n<p>Still in <strong>Bookmarks<\/strong>, select your assembly.
