The exam includes practical exercises covering the many drawing functions in SOLIDWORKS :

• Basic view creation
• Sectional views
• Auxiliary views
• Views from another position
• Model views
• Local cut
• View focus when creating 2D geometry
• Transfer sketch elements to/from views
• Creating and modifying BOM tables :
  • First level
  • Parts only
  • Withdrawal
  • Grouping of part configurations
  • Missing items
  • Access to custom properties in the BOM
  • Using equations with BOM data
• Item numbers and their display
• Displaying/hiding components
• Linking notes
• Importing model objects

In case of failure

Don’t panic, it happens. What’s more, it’s not your fault – we know SOLIDWORKS crashed.

You’ll be able to retake it in 14 days, so get back to practicing in the meantime. You’ll need a new code for the exam.
