PHOENIX MOBILITY subscribes to CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE®“On Cloud” to Support Its Growth
Paris, May 14, 2020, XD Innovation Europe, a subsidiary of Prodways Group, team Phoenix Mobility with the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE® platform in the cloud.
Founded in late 2018, Phoenix Mobility is a startup whose mission is to Converting internal-combustion vehicles into 100% electric vehicles. This is called a retrofit.. Converting an existing internal-combustion vehicle makes it more affordable to switch to an electric vehicle and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 50% compared to those associated with manufacturing a new vehicle.
Since April 3, 2020, a ministerial decree has finally authorized the mass-production certification of retrofitted vehicles, making France arguably one of the world’s pioneers in this field. In this context Phoenix Mobility plans to equip more than 9,000 vehicles over the next three years , primarily for commercial vehicles in corporate and municipal fleets.
To support its innovation, the startup chose to use the platform 3DEXPERIENCE® in the Cloud. “ My teams wanted a comprehensive tool that was easy to install, deploy, and maintain, and, of course, affordable. For example, investing in servers was out of the question, and we wanted the flexibility to adjust our software usage to our needs. ”explains" Wadie Maaninou, Chief Executive Officer.
