CAD when working alone: the basics

How does the €250-per-month introductory offer work?

Three months of full access: You can start working on your projects right away, and a dedicated, certified engineer is available to help you overcome any challenges. At the end of the third month, we’ll review your progress together, and you’ll choose the plan that best fits your needs.

Can I customize my modules based on the assignments?+

Yes: You can choose roles and modules based on your contracts, and they can be adjusted as your needs change. We define the core components and variations during the proposal simulation.

My clients use other software: Can we exchange data?+

Yes. Export to earlier versions and neutral formats (STEP, IGES, DXF, 3D PDF) is still available, and the PDM system keeps a record of what was sent, to whom, and when.

Can I work at multiple locations, at home and at the client's site?+

Yes: The license is named, so a single ID is sufficient. You can switch from your desktop to your laptop without a hardware key, and you can work offline with synchronization when you go back online.

Am I on my own when it comes to installing the software and restoring my files?+

No. Quickstart covers the initial setup: the workstation is deployed, the PDM is configured, and your files are imported, with naming conventions applied to an actual folder.

Why buy through a reseller instead of buying directly?+

Prices are the same as the software vendor's. The difference is that you have a dedicated representative who sets up your workstation, trains you, and provides technical support, plus Ohmycare: a dedicated, certified engineer who is familiar with your records.
