This example guides you through the creation and execution of an external fluid flow simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

You will learn to :

  • Use the Wizard to create a simulation that models mechanical forces and stationary fluid flow dynamics.
  • Define an internal fluid region for your model.
  • Assign a material to the fluid section.
  • Specify flow physics, including thermal effects.
  • Apply the boundary conditions.
  • Create a mesh of the fluid region.
  • Request data output for relevant variables.
  • Perform a check and run a simulation.
  • Generate plots to display pressure, temperature, flow velocity and streamline contours of fluid flow.
