This example guides you through the creation and execution of an external fluid flow simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
You will learn to :
- Use the wizard to create a simulation that models mechanical forces and steady-state fluid flow dynamics.
- Define a fluid region external to your model, using symmetry to reduce simulation time.
- Assign a material to the fluid section and specify the flow physics.
- Apply boundary conditions.
- Create a fluid region mesh.
- Request data output for relevant variables.
- Check and run a simulation.
- Create sensors to display different types of results data.
- Automatically calculate quantities using formulas (i.e. Knowledgeware parameters).
- Generate plots to visualize fluid flow contours.
