This example guides you through the creation and execution of an external fluid flow simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

You will learn to :

• Use the wizard to create a simulation that models mechanical forces and steady-state fluid flow dynamics.
• Define a fluid region external to your model, using symmetry to reduce simulation time.
• Assign a material to the fluid section and specify the flow physics.
• Apply boundary conditions.
• Create a fluid region mesh.
• Request data output for relevant variables.
• Check and run a simulation.
• Create sensors to display different types of results data.
• Automatically calculate quantities using formulas (i.e. Knowledgeware parameters).
• Generate plots to visualize fluid flow contours.
