With the applications available in our offers, you can connect all your partners – employees, suppliers, customers, consumers – on a single platform and collaborate on your project. The aim of these offers is to simplify your data management by making it intuitive.
Today we're going to focus on our manage light offer. It can be broken down into 4 main areas, which we will develop below.
3D Drive
First, let's talk about the 3D Drive application. This allows you to access and view your SOLIDWORKS files from anywhere. You can also share your files and folders securely and free of charge with anyone. They can therefore be viewed and annotated, without installation, by all your stakeholders.
You can share any folder or file, including CAD files. You have two options:
- Internal sharing: i.e. sharing with another user of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You can easily share your projects by defining multiple sharing levels (read-only, author, manager).
- External sharing: You can share your files with all your stakeholders, even if they don't own an installation. The procedure is as follows: you can generate a share link, after which all the people to whom you share the link will have free access to the file and will be able to download it. They'll finally be able to annotate your work
Finally, this application is fully integrated with Window. This means you won't have to change your habits. In fact, a "3DDrive" tab appears in Windows File Explorer, allowing you to organize your files into folders and sub-folders just as you would on your own computer.
3D Play
It's the ultimate multifomat viewer, allowing you to open all your 3D and 2D CAD files from anywhere, free of charge. This application lets you open, view and annotate all your files (2D and 3D).
You can open and manipulate your files. In fact, you can create cutaway and exploded views. As already mentioned, you can also annotate and create file reviews (hang dimensions, draw, highlight, measure…).
The fact that you store your files in the cloud means you'll always have access to a good (up-to-date) version of your files.
3D SWYM
This application will become your corporate social network. It lets you organize by community, team or project. It's the ideal channel for centralizing your exchanges and passing on information.
MarketPlace
This is a directory of engineering companies using 3DEXPERIENCE. This application will put you in touch with a large number of qualified international suppliers. You can benefit from a wide range of services (advice, manufacturing, etc.). You will have access to three types of services:
- Engineering: You can subcontract design hours for all your projects to the best international engineers.
- Make: Get manufacturing quotes for your parts quickly and easily. This is the space for manufacturing and producing parts on demand. 3D printing, CNC machining, injection molding, laser cutting, sheet metal work and much more.
- Part Supply: Benefit from access to standard parts with numerous references (SKF, SANDVIK, SCHNEIDER, BOSH etc.). This is the catalog of downloadable 3D components.
Every company present on 3DEXPERIENCEcan become a full player on the marketplace, enabling you to offer your services to other platform stakeholders. You'll gain in visibility and increase your business.
