SOLIDWORKS : “Design library” folder missing in the design library

SOLUTION :

Step 1: Make files visible in Windows Explorer

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. click on display
3. click to show
4. Show hidden elements

   

   The aim is to display the “ProgramData” folder

    

Step 2: Add the folder to the design library

1. Open SOLIDWORKS and click on options
   
2. In the system options tab, click on file location
   
3. Select “Design library” in the “Show folders for” section 
   
4. Click on “add
5. Select the folder “C:\ProgramData\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS 2024\design library” and click on OK
6. Validate all and close
