Description
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Standard is the entry-level version of SOLIDWORKS' integrated simulation software: linear static analysis to validate the structural integrity of your parts, right on your computer, without leaving the design environment.
For a designer, this is the way to verify a part as it is being designed: apply a load case, check the structural integrity, and iterate. This level also covers fatigue and parametric analyses, with post-processing and reports to document the results, as well as a configuration wizard to set up the analyses.
At €197/month with an annual commitment, this is the entry-level option in the lineup: the Professional and Premium tiers then add motion, thermal, and subsequently nonlinear and dynamics capabilities. The subscription is named-user, multi-seat, with cloud or local storage, based on the official Dassault Systèmes pricing schedule, with new versions included.
