Description
SOLIDWORKS Milling Professional supports machining programming for 2.5- to 3-axis prismatic milling, integrated with your SOLIDWORKS CAD software on 3DEXPERIENCE. Toolpaths are generated directly from the 3D model: no exporting, no disconnect between design and the shop floor.
The role also includes laser and waterjet cutting, wire electrical discharge machining (Wire EDM), and NC review on the shop floor, along with toolpath optimization and simulation to ensure the program’s reliability before machining. An integrated training program (3DLearn) is provided to help users get started.
This level is designed for machining shops and engineering departments focused on milling. For parts of revolution or multifunction machines, the product line offers Turning Professional and Milling + Turning Premium. The subscription is named-user, multi-seat, and available on an annual or 3-month basis, at the official Dassault Systèmes pricing.
